We’ve got another great episode coming at you with the passionate Heidi Sime, and this one is a fun one because this time we’re talking about the wild concept of urine therapy.
Do you remember Bear Grylls drinking his own urine on TV, and everyone lost their minds about it? Well, I’ve known people who’ve been drinking their own urine for years now, and I just couldn’t get on board.
That’s until I met with Heidi. She’s absolutely passionate about it and is out to convert everyone she can.
In this episode, we discuss how Heidi’s journey of self-experimentation led her down the path to discovering urine therapy. Or as Heidi says, urine therapy found her.
And before you buck it, consider how much our very culture actively ignores the feedback from our own body and environment. Everyone is so addicted to standardized medicine that they’re not willing to look outside the system. If any of them took the time to study the human body would know how ridiculous that is.
Instead, people are content to take that general prescription that works with a lot of people.
It takes contrarians like Heidi to show us the benefits of methods such as urine therapy that the average joe shies away from. Once you get past the social stigma surrounding urine, it’s only a matter of looking at what it really has to offer. And when you think about it, there’s no other form of therapy that’s more personalized than this, and you produce it yourself.
If you want to know more, you’re just going to have to give it a listen. If Heidi can convince me of something I’ve shied away from myself for years, I have no doubt she can convince you.
Join us in this episode as we discuss the feedback loops that people ignore, the fallacies of standardized medicine, and how urine therapy helps us tap into the feedback that lets us build a better awareness of our bodies.
